Any reference to Kingdom Worker Ministries or KWM within the context of this General Privacy Policy is intended and shall be considered to be inclusive of each and all entities operated by Kingdom Worker Ministries.

GENERAL PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT

KWM is committed to protecting and properly handling your private and personal information. This General Privacy Policy applies to all personal and non-personal information received by KWM’s Platforms. By using our Platforms, you agree to the terms of this General Privacy Policy.

The definition of “personal information” will differ depending upon applicable law. For the purpose of this General Privacy Policy, “personal information” means any information or set of information that identifies or could be used by or on behalf of KWM to identify, a natural person. Personal information does not include information regarding corporate entities or information that is encoded, aggregated, or anonymized, or publicly available information that has not been combined with non-public personal information. In Europe, the term will include all information that directly or indirectly relates to you and includes “personal data” as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Where GDPR or other EU privacy laws apply to you, this Privacy Policy Statement details how you can exercise your rights. In addition to personal information, we may collect additional information or “non-personal information” that does not personally identify you.

California Privacy Notice: In California, under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents who have an established business relationship with KWM may choose to opt out of our sharing of your personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes. Non-U.S. Residents: It is important to note that if you are located outside of the United States, any personal and non-personal information you provide to us will be stored in the United States. By using our Platforms and by providing us information in any manner, you consent to us storing and using the information and data provided by you in accordance with this General Privacy Policy. SECTION 1 — USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

KWM will generally only collect and use your personal information when it is necessary to achieve our mission and our vision to reach to those who have an ear to hear. We may also use your personal information as an opportunity for ministry engagement when it is needed to process your donations, to provide you with goods and/or services, to inform you about our products, events, and services, to communicate information and ministry updates to you, or to comply with our legal obligations and process product orders.

SECTION 2 — WAYS PERSONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED

KWM obtains personal information about you via:

  1. Direct Personal Engagement: When you inquire about our activities, engage in an activity with us, make a donation, purchase something from our Platforms, register through one of our Platforms or at an event, submit a job application, or otherwise give us your personal information.
  2. Cookies: When you interact with or browse our Platforms, we may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information and to track activities. We also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system so we can better improve the experience for all our users. For more information, see Section 7 — Cookies and Data Collection Policy.
  3. Email Marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about new products, free and premium content (like blog posts, content articles, YouTube videos, free product offers, live event alerts, etc.), and special announcements.
  4. Mobile: When you download or use apps created by KWM or our subsidiaries, we may receive information about your location and your mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device. We may use this information to provide you with personalized content and location-based interactions. Most mobile devices allow you to turn off location services. For more information about how to do this, we recommend you contact your mobile service carrier or your device manufacturer.
  5. Third Parties: We may, from time to time, obtain personal information about you from third parties and/or public sources, but only those sources that have obtained information in a legal and proper way. In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
  6. Referrals By Individuals: Your name and contact details may have been given to us by someone you know, who indicated that you might be interested in hearing about our ministry.

SECTION 3 — KIND OF PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

KWM collects the following types of personal information:

  1. Job Application Data: including employment history, qualifications, faith involvement, background check data and references, if applicable.
  2. Contact Details: including email address, postal address, email, telephone number and social media handles.
  3. Demographics: including information that allows us to better understand who you are and the areas of our ministry you are most interested.
  4. Financial Data: including bank account and credit card details when needed.
  5. Financial Transaction Data: including details about payments and donations from you and details of products and services you have purchased from us and activities you have participated in.
  6. Historical Transaction Data: including communication history, your past donations, purchases, applications, and interactions with us.
  7. Identity Data: including name, date of birth, gender, marital status.
  8. Religious Information: including information about your religious affiliations and beliefs.
  9. Location Data: that is information about your physical location, including IP address, and lat/long coordinates and country of origin (where applicable).
  10. Preferences: including communication preferences and your interests.
  11. Security Credentials: including username and password.
  12. Tax Status: where applicable.
  13. Travel Information: including your travel details, those accompanying you and other travel preferences.

SECTION 4 — DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

KWM never sells, shares, trades, rents, leases, or exchanges your personal information with other organizations or send mailings to our donors in the name of other organizations. However, we may need to use or share your information with our corporate partners and agents who provide goods and services to you on our behalf. Your personal information and other information may be disclosed:

  1. to any of our parent companies, subsidiaries, or other companies, departments, or parts under common control of our Organization,
  2. to public or regulatory authorities,
  3. to third-party service providers, including:
    • digital marketing service providers (e.g., email marketing and social media platforms),
    • companies that assist us in processing event registrations,
    • companies that assist us in processing your donations,
    • companies that process the fulfillment of physical or digital goods and services.
  4. to current and prospective business partners as non-identifying aggregated user statistics and data to describe our company, products, and services,
  5. if we employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf; only information as necessary to perform their functions and to the extent permitted by law,
  6. if we are required by law, court order, or other government or law enforcement authority or regulatory agency to do so,
  7. if is necessary or advisable for the protection of the rights, property, or safety of KWM or other affiliated entities, or
  8. if you violate our Terms of Use Policy.

SECTION 5 — YOUR RIGHTS

The following rights under the GDPR are available to you if you are located in the EEA. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us (see Section 13 — Contacting Us). We will respond to your request within 30 days of accepting it. Before accepting your request, we may need to ask for some identity documentation from you. You should be aware, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in certain databases.

  1. Accessing personal information:
    To obtain a copy of any information that we hold about you, you may send us a request for this information (see Section 13 — Contacting Us). After receiving the request, we will tell you when we expect to provide you with the information, and whether we require any fee for providing it to you.
  2. Editing and updating personal information:
    At any time, you may review or request that we update personally identifiable information that we hold about you by contacting us (see Section 13 — Contacting Us).
  3. Deletion of personal information:
    At your request, we will delete your personal information if:
    • it is no longer necessary to retain your personal information,
    • you withdraw the consent which formed the basis of your personal information processing,
    • you have successfully objected to the processing of your personal information (see below),
    • your personal information was processed unlawfully, or
    • we are required to delete your personal information to comply with our legal obligations.
    We will review requests on a case-by-case basis, and we might not be able to comply with your request if we need to process your personal information:
    • for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information,
    • to comply with our legal obligations,
    • to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or
    • to perform a task in the public interest.
    • If this is the case, we will notify you of the reasons why your request was rejected.
  4. Restriction of processing of personal information:
    You have the right to request us to limit the processing of your personal information if:
    • you dispute the accuracy of your personal information,
    • your personal information was processed unlawfully, and you request a limitation on processing, rather than a deletion of your personal information,
    • we no longer need to process your personal information, but you need your personal information in connection with a legal claim or,
    • you object to the processing of your personal information based on our legitimate interests pending verification as to whether we have an overriding legitimate ground for such processing.
    • To the extent needed, we may keep some of your data to ensure we comply with your request to limit processing, or for other legal purposes.

    • When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
    • If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason (i.e., Daily devotional emails, newsletter subscription and announcements), we will ask you directly for your expressed consent and provide you with an opportunity to withdraw your consent.
    • We primarily rely on legitimate business interests to process your data, but to the extent we use consent to process your data, you have the right to withdraw any consent you may have given us at any time. We will comply with your request promptly.

    • You can always unsubscribe from our email communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in our email communications.

SECTION 6 — SECURITY AND PROTECTION

KWM is committed to ensuring the security of your personal information and other information. To protect your information, we take commercially reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the proper use of information, we have established and implemented appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

KWM uses Internet Encryption Software, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Protocol when collecting or transferring sensitive data such as credit card information. Any information you enter is encrypted at your browser, sent over the public Internet in encrypted form, and then de-encrypted at our server. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards. Email sent to or from our Platforms may not be secure, and you should, therefore, take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email.

KWM reviews our methods of information collection, storage, and processing, including physical security measures, to prevent unauthorized access to our systems. We restrict access to personal information to necessary employees or contractors who need the information for processing. Anyone with this access is subject to strict confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.

SECTION 7 — COOKIES AND DATA COLLECTION

KWM and related KWM-managed properties utilizes cookies, JavaScript Code, pixel tags, and other locally stored objects to create a more customized experience for our users and customers. Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer’s hard drive or mobile device so that your computer or device will “remember information about your visit.” They are also designed to enhance your online experience and to allow us to collect non-personal information. If you wish to disable the use of cookies, you should take necessary steps by selecting the appropriate settings within your web browser’s security settings to block all cookies from our Platforms. Please consult your web browser’s documentation for information on how to do this and how to delete certain cookies. Please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of our Platforms.

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”) in addition to Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reports to collect information anonymously about use of our Platforms. These tools reports Platform usage trends but do not reveal to us your name or other identifying information about your visit to our Platforms. We do not combine the information collected using these tools with personally identifiable information. We use the information we receive from these tools only to improve our Platforms; the type of content displayed to visitors and better understand those interested in our organization. We also use the information to aid in measuring and tracking where traffic is coming from and to track the performance of our Platforms. We also use tools for remarketing to advertise online, including Google Adwords and Facebook Custom Audiences, which permits third-party vendors, to show more relevant ministry messaging on sites across the internet.

We may share this information with third party consultants who help us analyze the information and improve our Platforms. We may share other information about your activity on our Platforms with third parties for tailoring, analyzing, managing, reporting, and optimizing the advertising you see on our Platforms and elsewhere. These third-party vendors may use cookies or pixels, or other technologies to collect other information in order to learn which advertisement brings a user to a given website for such purposes as to serve messaging based on someone’s past visits to our Platforms or prior engagement with us.

Google will add a small cookie to your web browser or mobile device to help a website’s operator analyze how users use a site. A cookie is a small text file placed on your computer or mobile device to collect standard Internet log information and web browsing activities. The non-personal information generated by the cookie about your use of our Platforms (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers located around the world. Google will use this information for evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators, and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by them. The cookie will identify you as a unique user the next time you visit our Platforms. The cookie cannot be used by anyone else. By using our Platforms, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set forth above.

  • You can prevent these tools from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser and by using the Google Analytics’ Opt-out Browser Add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.   • You can prevent Facebook from including you in Facebook Custom Audiences by adjusting your settings at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences.

Please be aware that KWM assumes no responsibility for responding to Do Not Track (DNT) web browser signals. Consult external website polices regarding their response to DNT signals.

SECTION 8 — RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION / DATA

KWM keeps your information as long as it is needed to achieve our purposes listed above, as well as for the amount of time necessary to meet any legal, tax, or reporting requirements.

SECTION 9 — CHILDREN'S ONLINE PRIVACY

KWM is concerned about the privacy of children under age 13 (“Children” or “Child”), and we have adopted policies to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. To the extent that any personal information that is collected from Children, said information will be collected by means of web-based technology allowing KWM leaders and minor participants to communicate with each other and with other minor participants by means of video and audio communications and technology (“Technology”). No third-party operators will collect such information.

Children who use the Technology may choose to share their names, personal interests, Christian spiritual insights, and information about their religious affiliations and beliefs. Children will provide all personal information verbally by using the Technology. The information will be used to conduct virtual events conducted by KWM, which events involve communication among participants and KWM employees and agents. None of the information collected will be disclosed to third parties outside of the individuals who are participating in the programs using the Technology.

KWM will not require Children to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary for participation using the Technology. Parents and/or legal guardians are always welcome and encouraged to participate in activities using the Technology along with their Child. In addition, to the extent that any Child’s personal information is stored by KWM, parents may view such information, direct KWM to delete such information, and refuse to allow any further collection or use of the Child’s information. By using the Platforms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use the Platforms.

SECTION 10 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The KWM Platforms may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites such as KWM’s corporate partners and agents. These third-party websites are not controlled or maintained by KWM. Hyperlinks to these websites are provided for convenience. KWM is not responsible and assumes no liability for the contents of any of these websites, and unless expressly stated, does not endorse these websites or their contents, products, or services. KWM is not responsible for the content of any corporate partner’s webpage linked to the KWM Platforms, and the opinions and views expressed on the corporate partner’s web pages do not necessarily reflect those of KWM. The contents of the corporate partner's web pages are not reviewed in any way before they are linked to the KWM Platforms. Hyperlinks are to be accessed at your own risk, and we make no representations or warranties about the content, completeness, or accuracy of these hyperlinks. Information collected by third parties is governed by their privacy practices. We encourage you to learn about the privacy practices of those third parties.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. KWM reserves the right to de-activate (suspend) or remove any user accounts provided by KWM without a notice, if user has violated our Terms of Use Policy, has violated common Internet policies, or if the account has been inactive for more than 180 days.

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you (by email or notice on this page) about changes in the way we treat your personal information and how those changes are likely to impact you. Please be aware that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, our use of personal information and other information is governed by the General Privacy Policy in effect at the time we collect the information.
